Irina Zhuravleva is an Associate Professor in the Department of Astronomy and Astrophysics at the University of Chicago. Her research focuses on a range of topics related to the physics of the intracluster medium, feedback from supermassive black holes, and observational plasma physics. More broadly, she is interested in the high-energy processes that shape the evolution of galaxies and large-scale structure. She is also involved in the development of future X-ray missions, including LEM/ExCEED and Lynx.
